1st Card of the Year

February is a month of love. A few days before Valentines day is my hubby’s and my anniversary πŸ™‚ It will be 3 years. I know were still newly weds lol but the best 3 years of my life! So here is the card I put together for those special days.

Good Times & Christmas Cards

Thursday nights are my craft nights! I get together with a group of awesome ladies at our post craft store once a week, eat and craft! Here are some pictures of one of those Thursday nights…We always have a food theme and that week was warm food(tea, hot chocolate, and soup) and our craft for that day was heat embossing and decoupage…

Now for my Christmas cards lol My Christmas cards are all done! I do mean all! Evelopes addressed, wrote in all my cards and are almost ready to be mailed out! Im hoping I can find a good picture of the family to add to the cards so they are still open and I need to add the mailing stamp to them…But here they are πŸ™‚

Christmas Cards Day 1

I finally started my Christmas cards!!! My neighbor and good friend Heather Benoit came down to craft with me so the pix you will see are cards that she made too πŸ™‚ My cards last year were not very traditional in colors and this year they are…Iv really liked what I have put together so far hopefully you guys do too πŸ™‚

Didn’t she do a good job for her 1st time making cards!!!

We celebrated our friends birthday last night at our craft night so I made a card for her for all of the craft group to sign…I tried to do the ribbon pleating and I was succesfull lol but the glue runner I used was not haha…The fill that I had in my glue runner was the dotted one and Iv gotta say that it works great for everything else except to glue down the ribbon lol So take my word for it and if you have the dotted refills for you Walmart glue runner and want to do some ribbon pleating on your card/etc change it to a regular glue runner πŸ™‚002

By the way sorry my pix is so dark I took it last minute before running out to craft night lol

Birthday Wishes

Happy Birthday

Just a simple Birthday card I put together a few days ago for one of my neighbors daughter…Nothing much to it πŸ™‚

Materials: CTMH and SU

CardPatters Sketch 21

This is the 1st card I do from a sketch in a LONG time! This sketch is from CardPatterns and I’m actually pretty pleased with my results…It ended up looking a lot more like Tiff’s take of this sketch from IHeartArt than I expected it too but its done…I really wasnt trying to do that lol My paper is from Amy Butler, CTMH and to be honest with you guys I really dont know were the green came from πŸ™‚ My stamps are from OBP and CTMH and the ink is from CTMH as well…And lastly the ribbon is from a bag of ribbons Tiff sent me a while ago. By the way thanks for those again Tiff!!!

Today Was Craft Day For Me!!!

When I said I felt like crafting today I didnt think I was going to end up doing 2 pages for my sons scrapbook and 4 cards! Usually I say I feel like crafting and I’ll get a card done or at least 2 scrapbook pages…Today was sure different lol…It felt so nice to craft without my son whining that he wants someone to play with, he played by himself for the most part! The 4 cards I did today are suppose to be bithday cards and here they are πŸ™‚

This one is for my twins, well more like for the twins I use to nanny. They turn 3 in July, I cant believe how big they are getting! For this one I used CTMH ink in Baby Pink/Hydrangea/Holiday Red/Heavenly Blue/Clover Meadow/Desert Sand, Cupcake Sprinkles Stamp Set, Dainty Thoughts for the birthday sentiment, and the letters I used for the names are by MSE oh and the background paper is by The Paper Stack.

This next one is for my good friend and front door neighbor Heather. For this one I used all CTMH except for the pearls πŸ™‚ The papers are Cocoa, Sorbet, and a B&T Duos from Unforgettable…And last but not least the stamp is from Butterfly Wings.

Now this one…This is for my cousins hubby who’s b-day is next week…I used scraps of white for the images which are from Unity Stamps, white CTMH brads, CTMH Ink in Archival Black, CTMH Markers in Cocoa, Crystal Blue, and Bamboo. Oh and the paper is once again from The Paper Stack.

Now for the very last one πŸ™‚ This one is for my BFF since like FOREVER!! Seriously lol we have been best friends since the 3rd grade!!!! This card cant be any better for her! She is such a girly girl!!! This is all CTMH material…Ink in Desert Sand and Hollyhock, Paper in Deset Sand and Notebook, May’s Stamp of the month, Grosgrain Ribbon in Cocoa and Clear Sparkles to add some bling to it πŸ™‚ Oh and I used my Distressing Kit.
