Simple Sign

This was originally something else compleatly…It was actually suppose to be a clock but never got around to finishing it. (Tiff you should recognize this lol) It had been put away with my crafting supplies that the clock face I had done for it decided it didnt want to stay so I helped it out and took it off…Now I had this piece of perfectly good wood that needed a bit of a face lift lol so it was transformed to a sign for my craft area.

Here is what it looked like after taking off the clock face.

This is what it looks like now after some Mod Podge, paper napkins, stamps, flowers, and a little bling ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes I know the “Corner” is slanted but I think it gives it character =p Oh by the way I have decided that this will be the name to my new Etsy shop opening soon! Super excited!

Project For My Boys

I was feeling creative today ๐Ÿ™‚ We had this table we bought at Walmart a little over 2 years ago that we were no longer using so I decided to paint and decoupage it for my boys room. Their room is kind of a mixture lol, their bedding is polka-dots/circles, the colors on the walls are light blue and tan (matching the bedding) and their names I decoupaged in bamboo and Chinese characters…I would have done the same with the table but I was out of the napkins I used for their names so since hubby put glow in the dark stars and planets on the boys ceilings I went off of that for the design…

Well I guess its not much of a design lol its more of just randomly putting squares on the table ๐Ÿ˜› I started by putting a whole sheet in the center and building with the squares inwards then I just added the stickers.ย  I used CTMH Stardust paper and stickers. Super simple.

In Need Of Pictures

Iv been working on a few projects…3 to be exact…2 of which are done…The 1st one I started was about 3 weeks ago or so and its still not finished, is a baby blanket! I learned how to crochet on my Thursday’s craft night and that’s what im making ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s a multi-color blanket (brown, blue & cream) in a simple 3 stitch, I believe thats what its called lol Its the only stitch I know so far haha. The second was my thank you note pads for my baby shower. This I learned how to make from the very talented Tiff over at iheartart. The only thing with mine was that I ran out of binder clips and there were no post it notes at my local PX so I used regular note pads trimmed them down and attached them with ribbon…I really wanted to make this instead of Thank You cards so I had to improvise some how ๐Ÿ™‚ Now the last thing which I find totally cool and I’ll be doing soon again was I decoupaged (I never know if im spelling that right lol) a jar! That I learned to do on my Thursday’s Craft Night too! Those ladies are SO talented! I would have pictures for you guys but sine my due date is getting really close my only camera is in the car lol but I promise as soon as I can I’ll take pix and post them ๐Ÿ™‚

Birthday Wishes

CardPatters Sketch 21

This is the 1st card I do from a sketch in a LONG time! This sketch is from CardPatterns and I’m actually pretty pleased with my results…It ended up looking a lot more like Tiff’s take of this sketch from IHeartArt than I expected it too but its done…I really wasnt trying to do that lol My paper is from Amy Butler, CTMH and to be honest with you guys I really dont know were the green came from ๐Ÿ™‚ My stamps are from OBP and CTMH and the ink is from CTMH as well…And lastly the ribbon is from a bag of ribbons Tiff sent me a while ago. By the way thanks for those again Tiff!!!

Framed Art

Yup 2 new pieces…The 1st one uses CTMH paper and ink, Unity Stamps, and Crayola Color Pencils.

The 2nd one uses CTMH ink, paper and stamps…Also just some pearls and white gel pen to give it a little x-tra. I think I might have over done it with the pearls on the outside border tho?
