CardPatters Sketch 21

This is the 1st card I do from a sketch in a LONG time! This sketch is from CardPatterns and I’m actually pretty pleased with my results…It ended up looking a lot more like Tiff’s take of this sketch from IHeartArt than I expected it too but its done…I really wasnt trying to do that lol My paper is from Amy Butler, CTMH and to be honest with you guys I really dont know were the green came from 🙂 My stamps are from OBP and CTMH and the ink is from CTMH as well…And lastly the ribbon is from a bag of ribbons Tiff sent me a while ago. By the way thanks for those again Tiff!!!

I chose to keep the chocolate and cream color but change the light pink to blue.
I am sending this card to the hubby down range lol…
I also used sk022109 from Paper Craft Planet for this card.
I came across the sketch when I signed in and just had to try it!
For this specific card I decided not to use any stamps.
The sentiment I wrote in and please excuse my penmanship lol

Sunday Blues-Dream

So I finally got a chance to post this lol I have had this done since last Sunday. Browsing threw a good friend Tiff‘s Blog I came across this layout and just had to try it. I believe the sketch is from Caardvarks. They had a prize going on for their favorite if im not wrong but I just did mine for fun 🙂

It has been a while since I do a page for my sons scrapbook! Today I decided to take some time and make one 🙂 For starters this isn’t the best picture but I guess it works lol…I couldn’t seem to come up with something on my own so I went off of SBSC 17 from Splitcoaststampers.

Once again, I’m trying my best to utilize the paper I have even though its not Christmasy lol…For this one, all I did was cut the center flower out of a bigger Christmas stamp I have…I colored it and added some glitter to it…

Girly X-Mas SC 202

Im still waiting for my Christmas Paper to come in the mail lol so I decided to make a “Girly” X-Mas card 🙂 I used SC 202 for this one…For the stocking I did some paper peicing…Nothing too special 🙂

This weeks sketch at Friday Sketchers is great, I could not help myself but try it! This is what I came up with…

I stuck to 2 sets of colors in different shades but I would LOVE to try this sketch out with more colors!

Happy Birthday

Tomorrow is the birthday of one of our newest wifes in Hotel Company so I thought I’d make her a little card and see if I can get the rest of the wifes to sign it today during our company bbq. 🙂 I wasn’t sure how to make it so I went onto Splitcoaststampers to find a sketch…Sketch 191

Tiff that is so funny that you said that because when I was doing the first card I thought of paper piecing but it was just a thought 🙂 Now that you said it I just had to try it!
